Ultra thin digital picture frame design interchanges with standard frames, introduced by Digital Spectrum Solutions (DSI) at PMA .

IT'S ALL ABOUT THE FRAME

Irvine, CA - February 25, 2007. At the PMA show 2009, at booth H278, Digital Spectrum Solutions Inc. (www.DSIcentral.com) is introducing a full family of ultra thin digital picture frames that interchange with standard ready made frames. The MemoryFRAME Ultra is a full featured digital picture frame family with unique first to market innovations.

Some of these are:

Interchanges with Standard Ready Made Fames - The hallmark of MemoryFRAME is interchanging with standard ready made frames, first introduced in 2001. This allows consumers the freedom to decorate the digital picture frame using the broadest styles and look, appealing to individual taste.

Changeable Bezel/Matte - The bezel/matte is also changeable. The end result is a digital picture frame with unlimited ways to match any décor; from provincial to traditional to contemporary, or make your own.

Extendable Chrome Plated Desktop Stand - The stand design is not only appealing in style and look, it is also extendable. In this manner as different frames are interchanged, MemoryFRAME can adjust accordingly.

4:3 Aspect Ratio - MemoryFRAME employs displays that are 4:3 aspect ratio, because the primary role of a digital picture frame is to play digital images, which are commonly also 4:3. This avoids common complaints about stretching, cropping or some other manipulation to fit the image on the display.

JoyStick Menu Control - Instead of the cumbersome pushbuttons, commonly found on digital picture frames, the JoyStick menu control provides single finger control when managing the digital picture frame. It is cleverly hidden behind the front bezel so that blind operation is easily achieved with minimum handling, even when mounted on a wall.

Film Strip Folder View - Many thousands of images can be stored in internal or external memory today, and many images are stored in folders. MemoryFRAME understands Folders and Files. If images are in a folder, and the folder is highlighted, a filmstrip view of the images in the folder will scroll across the bottom of the display; easy to use management.

Clock/Calendar/Slideshow/Music - In this mode, when the clock and calendar is playing, a slideshow will also play, along with background music if you choose.

Other standard features include large internal memory, dual USB, 4:1 card reader, removable desktop stand, stereo speakers, and remote control. Optional configurations include 802.11 wireless connectivity and photo sharing, and/or internal rechargeable battery.

"We trialed this concept last year on a limited basis with great success and are now rolling out the full family", states John Parsa, CEO of Digital Spectrum Solutions. The 7", 8.4", 10.4", 12.1", and 15" are available beginning February 2009.
